Skyline Drive Hike

My sister has been a little fitness crazy the past few weeks. She's dragged me on several trail hikes and runs, and I'm not really the hiking type. However, she got me up to Skyline Drive a few days ago and I got some great shots on our seven mile hike!

 Along the trail, we ran into a bear cub! It was scary and amazing at the same time!

2012 Vacation

I have been slacking off as far as taking pictures goes. I guess I've been more focused on living life rather than documenting it. However, I may regret not having enough pictures further down the road.

Regardless, I have absolutely been living it up on my first summer vacation as a teacher. I've been to the University of North Carolina Wilmington for basketball camp, Myrtle Beach on a golf vacation, and Nags Head for some beach time with my family.

The squirrels in Myrtle Beach are fearless! They jump into the golf carts and steal anything edible!!! This little guy was feeling some Nab crackers and my dad's banana!

After going to basketball camp and Myrtle Beach for a week and a half, I headed home for about two days. Then it was off to Nags Head for family vacation! I didn't take my camera out to the beach this year. I did, however, get to take some shots of my cousin Jen and her family! We got to spend the whole week with my 2nd cousin Gracen! He is too cute for words!
